Privacy policy

This notice explains how Blue Vibes srls handles the personal data of people who contact us or book an excursion, under Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data controller

The controller is Blue Vibes srls, registered office at Piazza Annibaliano 18, 00198 Rome, Italy, VAT 16950871000.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us when you contact us or book:

Contact details: name, phone number, email, and whatever you write in your messages.
Booking details: date and type of excursion, number of guests, any special requests (for example a dog on board or accessibility needs).
Billing details: when due, the data needed to issue a receipt or invoice.

The site has no contact forms, does not profile visitors and does not collect data without your knowledge.

Why we process your data

To reply to you and arrange the excursion. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
For tax and accounting obligations. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
To handle any disputes. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our rights (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

How you reach us

If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation also goes through Meta Platforms' servers, under WhatsApp's privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can always email or call us.

How long we keep your data

We keep messages and contact details for as long as needed to handle your request and the relationship that follows. Tax documents are kept for ten years, as the law requires. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Who we share data with

Your data stays with us. We only share it with those who help us run the business and are bound by confidentiality, such as our accountant for tax duties, or the authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell or publish your data.

Transfers outside the European Union

We do not transfer your data outside the European Union, except for what happens technically when you contact us via WhatsApp, whose provider is based in the United States and applies adequate safeguards under the GDPR.

Cookies

The site only uses technical cookies needed for it to work. We do not use profiling, analytics or third-party cookies, which is why there is no consent banner.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to processing, or receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). If you gave consent, you can withdraw it whenever you want. To exercise these rights write to info@blue-vibes.it: we reply within the legal deadlines.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if the way we handle data changes. The version in force is always the one published here, with the update date at the top.
